Albert

When I met Albert at Christmas he was looking quite sad and I asked are you ok? he replied no, he had just lost his wife to dementia a few days before, I was full of apologies and offered him a tea with me months later we are good friends and I had the opportunity to get some great images of him in the studio. He served in national service in Egypt for two years before returning to a cold London to start his career as a cabinet maker. He was married for over 60 years and i’m proud and honoured to call him friend. The photo session we carried out was images of him with his medals and also images of his parents long since gone but I wanted to bring the family back together in a image that I hope he and his family are proud of
